DAY 1: Nairobi – Amboseli

The trip starts in Nairobi. Depart Nairobi in the morning and travel to the Amboseli National park located at the foot of snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak.

Arriving at Amboseli Park, the clients check and have their lunch. An afternoon game drive is done and it gives the clients the all-important touch with the game rich flat plains of Amboseli, with the majestic Kilimanjaro Mountain towering in the distance. The park supports a wide variety of wildlife and is home to the Masai tribe.

DAY 2: Full day at Amboseli national park

Spend the whole day at the park or morning and afternoon game drives. Amboseli is best known for its vast swamps that offer life to large herds of African elephants with the towering Kilimanjaro peak as a backdrop. The game drives take us in search of the diverse wildlife and birds drawn to the grasslands and seasonal flood plains of Amboseli, offering fantastic photographic opportunities. A tour to this regions is not only breath taking but also very fulfilling.

DAY 3: Amboseli – Nairobi

The third day offers a last chance to have a game drive here before breakfast. Then head back to the hotel for breakfast and checking out before leaving the national park back to Nairobi .

DAY 4: Nairobi to Masai Mara – Kenya

Pick up from Airport or your accommodation place in Nairobi.  Your safari takes you to the Masai Mara Reserve. The Mara is magnificent, home to Kenya’s richest concentration of wildlife, and regarded by many travelers as an essential stop on any tour of Africa.

Arrival in Masai Mara in time for lunch, after which we embark on an evening Game drive until late evening when you settle for dinner and overnight.

Optional activities include bush dinner and bonfires.

DAY 5: Masai Mara Game Reserve

The next day is spent game viewing in Kenya’s finest wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve. Our morning and afternoon game drives take us in search of Africa’s Big Five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. On clear days, the Mara offers fantastic orange tinged sunset’s worth capturing on camera.

The ultimate action here is without doubt the annual wildebeest exodus, the Great Migration, in July and August when millions of these grass eaters move north from the Serengeti in search of lusher grass before turning south again in October.

Optional activities include, hot air balloon, bush dinner and a visit to Masai Village.

DAY 6: Masai Mara – L. Nakuru

The clients start the day with an early morning game drive where they might be lucky to witness hunting. At an extra cost a bush breakfast can be arranged followed by a visit to the Masai village to conclude the Masai Mara safari experience. We depart from our safari lodge/camp and take an en route game drive through the Masai Mara Reserve. Clients will then proceed to L Nakuru, arriving in the late afternoon clients will check in to their preferred camp/lodge before going for an evening game drive.

DAY 7: L. Nakuru – Samburu

Leave Nakuru  early in the morning for  Samburu where some of the animals and vegetation are a little different from those commonly found south. You will afterwards proceed for the evening game drive which will bring you to the elephant bedroom tower. The Ewaso Nyiro River cuts through this reserve, drawing a big population of Kenya animals to the park. Day 8: Samburu

You will have breakfast and have a packed game lunch before proceeding for a game drive exploring this amazing game reserve. The park is  home to the big five, Elephant, Lion, Rhino, Leopard, Buffalo as well as  Gerenuk, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, Gravy Zebra, Baisy Oryx, Endangered Wild Dog as well as Pun-cake Tortoise – Endangered. Samburu National Reserve was one of the two areas in which conservationists George and Joy Adamson raised Elsa the Lioness. Their story was made famous by the bestselling book and award-winning movie “Born Free”. You will spend the night here before embarking on a journey to Lake Nakuru.

Day 9:  Samburu – Ol pejeta private sanctuary

After checking out from your hotel room, continue with some game drives as you exit from Samburu national park. Head to a hotel in Nanyuki for overnight stay.

Day 10: Ol Pejeta – Nairobi

Head to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy early after warm breakfast. The conservancy offers a very unique blend of wildlife and sanctuaries of endangered species. Large herds of elephants, buffaloes as well prides of lions are easily noticeable any time of the day.

After a morning game drive,  visit the chimpanzees and endangered species then visit Baraka the blind black rhino, keeping curiosity wild at the education Centre, and perhaps winding down with another game drive before leaving.
