Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu

You will be picked up and driven to Samburu on the North of the Equator, south bank of the Ewaso Nyiro River some of the animals and vegetation are a little different from those commonly found south, take a few minutes relaxing proceed for the evening game drive which will bring you to the elephant bedroom tower. The Ewaso Nyiro River cuts through this reserve, drawing a big population of Kenya animals to the park. The river bustles with activity from its huge population of crocodiles.  Dinner and accommodation in a camp or lodge in Samburu.

Day 2: Samburu

Clients will have breakfast and have a packed game lunch before proceeding for a game drive exploring this amazing game reserve. The park is  home to the big five, Elephant, Lion, Rhino, Leopard, Buffalo as well as  Gerenuk, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, Gravy Zebra, Baisy Oryx, Endangered Wild Dog as well as Pun-cake Tortoise – Endangered. Samburu National Reserve was one of the two areas in which conservationists George and Joy Adamson raised Elsa the Lioness. Their story was made famous by the bestselling book and award-winning movie “Born Free”.

Return to the camp or Lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 3: Samburu – L. Nakuru

Leave Samburu headed to the Great Rift Valley region. Arrive at Nakuru town’s most popular tourist destination the L. Nakuru National park. You will arrive in the afternoon where you will have a late lunch and later head to the national park for an afternoon/evening game drive. Then retire back to your hotel /camp room for the night.

Day 4: L. Nakuru – L. Naivasha

After breakfast and packed lunch, proceed with an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park searching for other game animals found in the park including, lion, leopard, flamingos, Egyptian geese, waterbuck, giraffe, hyena, buffalo, baboons, velvet monkeys.  An optional boat ride tio the craters island can be done. Proceed to Naivasha in the evening for dinner an accommodation.

Day 5: L. Naivasha – Masai Mara

After breakfast visit Hells Gate National Park to view the impressive landscape with a sheer rugged cliffs. The activities at the Hells Gate include rock climbing, cycling, bird watching and trekking through the gorge among the geysers. Late afternoon drive through the Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara for dinner and accommodation.

Day 6 Masai Mara full day

After breakfast leave for a full day game drive with picnic lunch at Mara river migration bride area. This day is spent game viewing in the world renowned ecosystem, the Masai Mara National Reserve.  The game drives give you, the client, an opportunity to see at close range, Africa’s Big Five a packages of wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. Some of the wild animals to see here include Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos are also found in great numbers. The climax of the  trip here is the annual wildebeest exodus, the Great Migration, in July and August when millions of these grass eaters move north from the Serengeti in search of lusher grass before turning south again in October to December.

Optional activities include, hot air balloon, bush dinner and a visit to Masai Village.

Day 7: Masai Mara – Nairobi

Leave Masai Mara in the morning and head out for Nairobi.  Driving out, you will continue enjoy some game drives. You will arrive in Nairobi early in the evening and head straight to a hotel for freshening up.

Day 8 Nairobi – Amboseli

The trip starts in Nairobi. Depart Nairobi in the morning and travel to the Amboseli National park located at the foot of snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak.

Arriving at Amboseli Park, the clients check and have their lunch. An afternoon game drive is done. Retire back to the camp for Dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Full day at Amboseli National park

Spend the whole day at the park for morning and afternoon game drives. Amboseli is best known for its vast swamps that offer life to large herds of African elephants with the towering Kilimanjaro peak as a backdrop. The game drives take us in search of the diverse wildlife and birds drawn to the grasslands and seasonal flood – plains of Amboseli, offering fantastic photographic opportunities. A tour to this regions is not only breathtaking but also very fulfilling.

Day 10: Amboseli – Tsavo West

The day offers a last chance to have a game drive here before breakfast. Then head back to the hotel for breakfast and checking out before leaving the national park for Tsavo West. Arrival time is just after noon, have a hot lunch and now head out to sample the beauty of Tsavo west national park. It is endowed with Leopard, Cheetah, Wild dogs, Buffalo, Rhino, Elephant, Giraffe, Zebra, Lion, Crocodile, Mongoose, Hyrax, Dik- dik, Lesser Kudu, and Nocturnal Porcupine. Prolific birdlife features 600 species. You will have Dinner and overnight here.

Day 11: Tsavo West

You will have an early breakfast, then proceed for a morning game drive with a visit of Mzima Springs where you can see hippos and fish in a crystalline clear water. There are possibilities of seeing crocodiles and monkeys. Later proceed to dinner and overnight your next destination with very clear memories of the time at the Tsavo.

Day 12: Tsavo West -Tsavo East

Leave in the morning and drive to Tsavo East National park. Tsavo East National park is renowned for its large numbers of elephants and the famous man-eating lions. You will arrive with game en route at your camp or lodge, check in and have lunch. Later afternoon more game drive in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo and other members of the big five. Then dinner and overnight at the designated camp or lodge.

Day 13: Tsavo East

You will have an early morning game drive and then return to your lodge for breakfast. Afterwards you will have more game drive. Later dinner and overnight at the designated camp or lodge.

Day 14: Tsavo East – Nairobi

After breakfast leave Tsavo East and head back to Nairobi or your next destination.
