Day 1 Nairobi – Aberdare

Leave Nairobi early in the morning headed to the mountainous region in the central Kenya.  Head straight to aberdare national park and then have the whole day doing game drives. The Aberdare national park is home to elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffalos, warthogs and bushbucks among others. Rare sightings include those of the Giant Forest hog, bongo, golden cat, serval cat, African wild cat, African civet cat and the blue duiker. Dinner and overnight at the foot of the Aberdares.

Day 2  Aberdares – L. Nakuru

Leave the central region headed to the Great Rift Valley region. Arrive at the Nakuru town’s most population tourist destination the L. Nakuru national park. After lunch head to the national park for an afternoon game drive. Then retire back to your hotel /camp room for the night.

DAY 3: L. Nakuru – L. Naivasha

After breakfast you will leave for Naivasha to visit Hells Gate National Park. Afterwards, proceed towards Lake Naivasha for lunch and relaxation at the accommodation place. After lunch, clients will have their time to relax before having boat ride to the Craters Island for bird watching. In the evening, clients will have dinner and accommodation

DAY 4 L. Naivasha – Masai Mara

After breakfast you will be driven down the escarpment via the floor of the scenic Great Rift Valley. Arrival time at Masai Mara Game Reserve is just the mid-afternoon. After checking in, lunch and brief rest, an afternoon game drive is undertaken. Then return to the camp or lodge just before dusk for lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Optional activities include bush dinner and bonfires.

DAY 5: Masai Mara Game Reserve

This day is spent game viewing in the world renowned ecosystem, the Masai Mara National Reserve.  The game drives give you, the client, an opportunity to see at close range, Africa’s Big Five a packages of wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. Some of the wild animals to see here include Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos are also found in great numbers. The climax of the  trip here is the annual wildebeest exodus, the Great Migration, in July and August when millions of these grass eaters move north from the Serengeti in search of lusher grass before turning south again in October to December.

Optional activities include, hot air balloon, bush dinner and a visit to Masai Village.

DAY 6: Masai Mara – Nairobi

The clients start the day with an early morning game drive where they might be lucky to witness hunting. At an extra cost a bush breakfast can be arranged followed by a visit to the Masai village to conclude the Masai Mara safari experience. You depart from your safari lodge/camp and take an en route game drive through the Masai Mara Reserve. Clients will then proceed to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon. In Nairobi, they can choose their next destination or activity.
