DAY 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara
Pick up from Airport or your accommodation place in Nairobi. Your safari takes you to the Masai Mara Reserve. The Mara is magnificent, home to Kenya’s richest concentration of wildlife, and regarded by many travelers as an essential stop on any tour of Africa.
Arrival in Masai Mara in time for lunch, after which we embark on an evening Game drive until late evening when you settle for dinner and overnight.
DAY 2: Masai Mara Game Reserve
The next day is spent game viewing in Kenya’s finest wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve. Our morning and afternoon game drives take us in search of Africa’s Big Five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. On clear days, the Mara offers fantastic orange tinged sunset’s worth capturing on camera.
The ultimate action here is without doubt the annual wildebeest exodus, the Great Migration, in July and August when millions of these grass eaters move north from the Serengeti in search of lusher grass before turning south again in October.
Optional activities include, hot air balloon, bush dinner and a visit to Masai Village.
DAY 3: Masai Mara – L. Nakuru
The clients start the day with an early morning game drive where they might be lucky to witness hunting. At an extra cost a bush breakfast can be arranged followed by a visit to the Masai village to conclude the Masai Mara safari experience. We depart from our safari lodge/camp and take an en route game drive through the Masai Mara Reserve. Clients will then proceed to L Nakuru, arriving in the late afternoon. Clients have the evening to themselves.
DAY 4: L. Nakuru – Samburu
Wake up before dawn for a pre-dawn game drive. Then immediately after breakfast embark on a long journey to Samburu via Nanyuki town past the Equator. Arrival time is late evening.
The Ewaso Nyiro River cuts through this reserve, drawing a big population of Kenya animals to the park. The river bustles with activity from its huge population of crocodiles. Dinner and accommodation in a camp or lodge in Samburu
Day 5: Samburu
