Day 1: Mombasa/Nairobi – Tsavo East

Pick up from Mombasa or Nairobi in the morning and drive to Tsavo East National park. Tsavo East National park is renowned for its large numbers of elephants and the famous man-eating lions. You will arrive with game en route at your camp or lodge, check in and have lunch. Later afternoon more game drive in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo and other members of the Big five.

Then dinner and overnight at the designated camp or lodge.

Day 2: Tsavo East

You will enjoy a whole day in Tsavo East national park which is renowned for its large numbers of elephants and the famous man eating lions. In the afternoon you will enjoy more game drive in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo and other members of the Big five.

Then dinner and overnight at the designated camp or lodge.

 

Day 3 Tsavo East – Tsavo West

Early morning game drive and then return to your lodge for breakfast. You shall proceed to Tsavo West where you continue on game viewing drives with game drives on the way. Continue with Game en route to designated camp or lodge.

Day 4 Tsavo West-Amboseli

Clients embark on an early morning game and scenery viewing drive. Sunrise catches you as you explore the Tsavo West national park. The natural unfolds amid the freshness and beauty of the morning. Clients will head to Mzima Springs to view hippos, crocodiles, exotic fish and a variety of bird species. The greenery surrounding the underground springs is a welcome contrast to the dry terrain that form Tsavo West National park. Later proceed to Amboseli national park.

Day 5 Amboseli

Spend the whole day at the park or morning and afternoon game drives. Amboseli is best known for its vast swamps that offer life to large herds of African elephants with the towering Kilimanjaro peak as a backdrop. The game drives take us in search of the diverse wildlife and birds drawn to the grasslands and seasonal floodplains of Amboseli, offering fantastic photographic opportunities. This tour not only breathtaking but also very fulfilling.

Day 6: Amboseli – Nairobi

The Fifth day offers a last chance to have a game drive here before breakfast. Then head back to the hotel for breakfast and checking out before leaving the national park back to Nairobi.

Day 7  Nairobi – Masai Mara

The entourage will  be driven down the escarpment via the floor of the scenic Great Rift Valley. Arrival time at Masai Mara Game Reserve is just after mid-afternoon. After checking in, lunch and brief rest, an afternoon game drive is undertaken. Then return to the camp or lodge just before dusk for lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Optional activities include bush dinner and bonfires.

DAY 8: Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast leave for a full day game drive with picnic lunch at Mara river migration bride area.

This day is spent game viewing in the world renowned ecosystem, the Masai Mara National Reserve.  The game drives give you, the client, an opportunity to see at close range, Africa’s Big Five a packages of wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. Some of the wild animals to see here include Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos are also found in great numbers. The climax of the  trip here is the annual wildebeest exodus, the Great Migration, in July and August when millions of these grass eaters move north from the Serengeti in search of lusher grass before turning south again in October to December.

Optional activities include, hot air balloon, bush dinner and a visit to Masai Village.

DAY 9: Masai Mara – Nairobi

The clients start the day with an early morning game drive where they might be lucky to witness hunting. At an extra cost a bush breakfast can be arranged followed by a visit to the Masai village to conclude the Masai Mara safari experience. We depart from our safari lodge/camp and take an en route game drive through the Masai Mara Reserve. Clients will then proceed to Nairobi.
